Optimal tops spacing outdoors

Evening lads,
l'm allowed out to play soon & wondering about top placement. There's no room for scaffolding in my transportation, so using what's already in the van/trailer is this contraption..

If you were to setup on a flat open field for a demonstration of SQ to a small group, how far apart, how much toe and would you tilt?
The top of the second cab is 6ft from the ground.

Cool idea with the ladders, Keryn. How many people and how big is the listening area? Specifically, how wide and deep will your crowd be? And will you be running stereo or mono content?

If it were me, I'd triangulate... center of the primary listening position to each speaker = distance between speaker stacks. Doesn't have to be precise. But, really it's about coverage. If any particular venue is wider than long, spread them for the most even coverage across the desired space. But, for a test group listening from what might otherwise be the "dance floor", Triangle is fine, less is fine too. This is definitely the type of thing where it's a great opportunity to test a few options and see for yourself the difference it makes.

Crowd size on this occasion is most likely no more than 15 people! So depth & width is small, listening area is a 5 acre grass area in the middle of a 150acre farm. It'll be run in stereo.

If it were me, I'd triangulate...

Ok cool, thank you, l was thinking of setting mains around 15-20 feet on either side of the subs, and I'll toe each stack to triangulate at 60 - 70ft out. Slightly tilted like the image.

This is definitely the type of thing where it's a great opportunity to test a few options and see for yourself the difference it makes.

Being able to twist cabs should be helpful
