BMS H4552ND Alternative

Hi!

Does anyone happen to know of a good alternative for the BMS H4552ND?

It was at one point a recommended compression driver for the lowest crossover (1kHz) in the DR280 plans.

If your plans are old, you might consider contacting Bill for an update. New plans suggest Eminence F151M-8 for the lower 1.2 kHz (not 1.4kHz) crossover point.

Get the updated plans for the T60's too. Important modifications to the design have been made, allowing a wide range of driver choices instead of just the LAB's.

My plans are old, so I gotta' ask........ is the 1.4k you mentioned a typo or did the crossover change with the F151M? It's always been 1.2k.

Good catch, Bruce. 1.2kHz is correct in the new plans too. I wish I could claim fat fingers, but that mistake occurred upstairs.
