Security Cameras, Outdoor PA Speakers, (Stadium/CB Radio Styles)

Hi Everyone,

I am in need of info regarding Outdoor PA Style Speakers. The types you would see connected to a CB Radio PA in a car, Police car PA Speakers, Stadium, School outdoor PA Speakers...

I need an affordable way to attach an inexpensive pa speaker to a Security Camera audio line out.

The Challenges:

1. PA Speaker needs to be amplified in a way thats affordable. Essentially a self powered PA Speaker.

2. Powered PA Speakers are available such as the Speco ASPC20. Which is only 20 watts, not loud enough, and too high priced especially when multiple security cameras all need pa speakers.

3. I have tried using inexpensive outdoor pa speakers with cheap mono type amps... which work great, however its still too pricey and complicates wiring and power hookup/requirements/space constraints.


Is there a way I can use a Transformer? typically used for 70v systems.... use the transformer with required voltage from dc power supply and audio input from cameras?

There has to be an inexpensive way to create a powered/amplified pa speaker???

Any help or suggestions would be great to hear.
