Simplexx 1-12 PA Acoustic Foam
Simplexx 1-12 PA Acoustic Foam
I'm building 2 of the 1-12 PA version. Going to use acoustic foam on the back, top, bottom and sides. Is it OK to use 2" thick pyramid style foam panels or does it need to be flat panels? I also have polyester fiberfill stuffing available. What type of adhesive would hold that in place on the top, sides and back?

Re: Simplexx 1-12 PA Acoustic Foam
You may, but 2" pyramid works no better than 1" flat. All of the spaces between the points are air, which doesn't do anything. Pyramid looks like it's better, but it isn't. You can use poly batts held in place with spray glue.

Thank you for the quick response. Poly batts is what I was looking for.
