Select the "youtube" button in the "post a reply" and copy/paste it in the middle. Or you can paste that portion of the address in the reply, highlight it, then select "youtube" and it will wrap the highlighted area with the appropriate code.
Thanks Seth.....I tried the youtube button, but with the complete link. Learn something new every day. Or, it could be like Alzheimer's - I learn something new today that I already knew yesterday.

Well, we finished the fifth and last show for the summer on July 4th. In the middle of the show, I had to announce (read a script) three different times at set intervals as the guys in the helicopter parachuted down to the crowd with the Texas and US flags. We got the timing right and the singer hit the National Anthem just right.

The four big subs probably won't see action again until next year unless I get a wild hair and take another big rig show. Back to the once a month show with just the two little subs.

What? That's weird that they're done already. Seems like summer has just started. Interesting that they don't do them weekly through Labor Day. Hmm.

Well, good job Bruce. And that's awesome that the timing went so well

I'm definitely interested in all videos you have to post. I really enjoyed the last one, in particular the keyboard/organ solo. Such a good sound.

Historically, we did every Thursday starting in June and running through the middle of August along with July 4th. About 5 years ago, different people took over, changed the name and started paying the bands while cutting it down to 5 total shows. We never had a problem getting bands to play for nothing. Everyone wanted to do the gig and people were always trying to get in. I played it many times with various bands over the years. And before about 8 years ago when they hired me to provide sound, the bands had to provide their own. Made for a hot, sweaty evening.....setting up and playing.

I'll try to post some more videos. But.....really?.....who cares about the organ solo when there are GUITARS!!!!!

Until I can get some videos posted, here's a clip from a couple of years ago at our monthly show at the Tavern that boasts the very first liqour license in Texas after prohibition ended.

And it's the important stuff.....guitar solo!!!!!
