Suitable OTop 12 driver alternatives
Hi all, I live in Australia which makes it a huge pain to buy literally anything. I've been looking for other alternatives to the classic Eminece drivers used as u cannot get them in Australia for a reasonable price (usually shipping is atleast 200-300 aud). Anyways, you can get the Faital Pro 12FH520 drivers for a decent price. I know this driver was already talked about in another discussion but from what I read it's suitability wasn't really concluded. If anyone has any recommendation from where/ what drivers I should get, that would be greatly appreciated.

All the specs fit, which is a good thing. The only thing is the lack of rising response. However, it is not a terrible response either. Here are two links which show the response of the Faital and the DeltaPro12. In my opinion only, I think that the Faital will not disappoint.

Thanks alot for the speedy response, I was slightly concerned about some of the specs such as qts being 0.29 when the minimum in the build plans is 0.3. I also struggled to find some of the other specs for the fatial. But I'm feeling alot more confident now!!Tom Smit wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 11:06 pm In my opinion only, I think that the Faital will not disappoint.

I believe the rising mids requirement is less of an issue with the 1.2K crossover CD option.
