Jack 112 finished

#1 Post by alberto »

I am glad to anounce the accomplish of my Jack 112.

I've tried it at home as a bass player, and also to play some music. it sounds great although it's a bit heavy. No big deal, since it will stay on the floor and I don't expect to move it around very often.

The detail is from a painting of Alphonse Mucha, it's called "Allegory of music". The technique i used was tracing with a fat marker (BIC Marking 2000).

I hope you like it. I do :D
it was much fun to do all the cabinet, and i learned a lot about wood work.

Looks great! Did you include tweeters? I didn't in my J12Lite. What driver did you select?

I added 4 tweetes Monacor MPT 016. the driver is the "Eminence Deltalite II 2512"

it's heavier than the american version, coz in Spain i didn't manage to find the same tichkness in plywood, so I bought a thicker one. Since my work is related to Autocad, it was easy for me to resize the 3D drawings to the new thickness and do the project.

It's really creative. A lot of people talk about the amp and cab being part of the musical instrument. You have really made it part of the whole aesthetic experience. El resultado es estupendo!
