Attaching piezo arrays
Attaching piezo arrays
What is the best way to attach a piezo array to a jack? It doesn't seem like the four screws at the corners would be enough... Do folks add more screws? Are they glued to the wood? Is something like weather stripping added to the back to prevent rattling? What is the best practice?

Re: Attaching piezo arrays
Drill holes at every junction and put a screw there. And yes some weather strip wouldn't hurt.fender3x wrote: ↑Fri Aug 12, 2022 9:56 am What is the best way to attach a piezo array to a jack? Re: Attaching piezo arrays
Be sure to paint them. Black anodized screws will rust.
Re: Attaching piezo arrays
That's good to know since they will live in Florida. Thanks!
