Joe, the first cab I did with Duratex looked just like yours. A little peaky and had a rough, sandpapery texture. I also had a tough time getting the finish to look uniform.

After doing a couple more cabs, I've learned the finish is a little softer and it's easier to get it uniform texture and coverage without traces when the roller is well saturated with Duratex.

The first cab I did is still a little rough textured and I keep telling myself I'll get around to sanding it down and retexturing it. Hasn't happened yet, though.

Overall... looking good though :thumbsup: Better than untreated... for sure.
