See the attached photo for my concept for damping in my J12 Lites. I'm using spray contact cement. I'm not covering the ports.
Is it better to line the sides with foam or rather than install covering the ribs as I am considering?
What about the top and bottom of the cabinet- solid or just a bit?
I plan on covering the back left and right sides, not the middle. The crossover will be mounted on the cabinet back.
Comments greatly appreciated!
Thanxabunch!

Re: J12 Lite Damping
Hey nola, nice build
Have you taken a look at the Sketchup? It shows placement of damping material.

Re: J12 Lite Damping
The main concern is to cover any surface that's line of sight with the cone, unless it's very narrow, like the braces.
