Well then settled.
T39/OT12 seems to be the go.
Thankyou for the great information.
Now to deal with the imperial/metric conversion.
Ahh,

Well... hold that thought for a few days. There's likely going to be other opinions you may want to consider before making your ultimate choice. Or just get the entire collection of plans anyway. I first ordered 2-3 plans then a year later bought the collection. You'll more than likely end up making more than you thought. It's a little addictive and the plans aren't bad bathroom reading material.

If I were to build in metric, I'd grab a calculator, and a pencil, and go through the plans twice after printing them. First pass I'd convert all the fractions to decimal (divide the numerator by the denominator). Second pass, multiply the numbers by 25.4 to convert the figures to mm.

25 7/8"...
7 ÷ 8 = 0.875
25.875 x 25.4 = 657.2mm

It would probably take less than ten minutes. Maybe the first time you read through the plans, use a highlighter to mark all the measurements you need to convert. That way it'll be easier to just blaze through them all later with the calculator and not miss any.

I think that would be faster and more efficient than using an online mixed number converter or the measuring tool in the Sketchup file.

I shall indeed hold off.
For more suggestions. I welcome them.
Also thanks for the great advice so far. I do kinda like the
Shape of the tall boy still…
Also I would of definitely used a converter. So the formula is great.
Do I actually need sketch up? Or will the word format suffice?
Cheers.

With sketchup you can measure all the parts in metric, and then you won't have to screw around with calculations. Also, I estimate that 75% of build questions would be eliminated if builders would just use the sketchup model. But while you can lead a horse to water...

The Sketch up is a necessity, for sure. The Word Doc is very detailed and has great images. It literally is a step-by-step guide. However, there may be a point where the document does not make sense until you see it. With the Sketch up, you can switch all measurements to metric, zoom in, rotate, and even go inside the cab to look at each piece. I've found it critical to understanding the intent of the design and used it almost daily during my builds.

All of the cabs that I designed or re-designed over the last twelve years were done in sketchup first. If you take the time to learn how to use it you can isolate each individual part and remove it from the assembly to view it all by itself.

The T39/OT12 combo would be killer. Not many used as back-line, to the best of my knowledge.
The Omni15 is a single cab, can be hifi, and would be a solid way to go.
A pair of Jack112s loaded with the 3012 would be a strong contender. If built with the full tweeter complement and tweeter on/off switch in one cab, and a half/off/full tweeter switch in the other, it could be repurposed, when needed, for PA. It also allows for one to bring one, or two cabs to the gig depending on the need.

Righto,
More absolutely great advice.
Looks like sketch up is gonna be the go. Although i helped
One of my kids draw a hairdryer once. It was ok. I guess i
Wont be drawing myself.
I suppose if i build a tall boy its only one cab probably less
Cost too.
Such great advice. Blow these guitar guys off the stage. But
Seriously all points taken on board.

Just received my omni15 tallboy plans.
They look good. The speakers i can source.
Not too sure about the crossover parts.
So, i can build a 2x12 tall boy with the same plan?
How good.
Thanks again. Bill.
