Some more repurposing

#1 Post by himhimself »

Put together some big hand knobs to attach my v-plate to the tubas instead of just using machine screws and having to find a screw driver. Used some feet from a discarded office chair, 3.5” 1/4-20 machine screws, t-nuts, and some jb weld. Turned out pretty cool imho :-)

That's a terrific job of repurposing.

I find I am not that good at it, but I have tried to pay more attention when I am needing something like that, often the easy option is in plain sight. It I will waste two hours to make 4 knobs.
