Do you have that screen saved? Perhaps if it wasn't cropped, I could get a better feeling for it's context by other information that's been cropped out.

Hey Seth,Seth wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 8:30 pm I'm curious about the tops response too. However, since it's what he already has, I'm not too sure it would be of much practical use, other than informational purposes. I suppose it would be good to put a base tune on the system, that could be adjusted for the venue (if it ever changes). Otherwise, it seems as though just measuring in room response and setting the EQ based on that would be sufficient given his intended use. Just thinking out loud. I'm certainly not any sort of skilled EQ/crossover engineer. Are you seeing further value in that information, that I'm overlooking? (could totally be the case)
Yes mate, IIRC, the plan is to use the system outdoors sometime in the kinda near future.
It would be handy to know mains response before then.
My "target curve" is based on outdoors response, because that's a lot of my work. It's kind of tuned "flat", but also tweaked by ear.
I know if I walk into a room with my rig, and then tune to the room, I'm hearing what I might expect.
Sure, if Ryno's rig was never going anywhere, tune it to the shed. If it's going out though, it needs some kind of target point is all.
You can rough that out with some form of a response chart for the mains. We already know what the sub should be doing...
Built:
DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...
