Re: What's to chat about?
All good.
I wasn't thinking you're talking legal action.
What I wrote was more about suggesting how ludicrous it is that in order to ask the right questions to get an informed consent, you'd probably have to know more than the surgeon doing the procedure!
There's still a bunch of people in the world who think Dr knows best, do what you have to do, I don't wanna know, where do I sign.
They never get an informed consent, because they're not really listening.
I'll leave the rest lol
Thanks for your kind words. I did what I did then, to the best of my ability, that just turned out to be to a very high standard.
Even if the world was crumbling around me (and it did a few times), I walked in the door and gave 100% every day.
That's not surprising, that's how I try to do everything, including PA and sound...

I've just sent Grant a cheque for the KNEE1000 and DIGIT40 plans. Hopefully they should be here next week and I'll provide a review of how the build goes. I'm hoping I can use my existing PL to save costs.

The cheque bounced. ?
It wasn't enough anyway, don't know where you got your pricing from Chris.
I highly recommend upgrading to DIGIT4.1.
Much easier grasping things if you still have a thumb.
Apologies to anyone offended.

A cousin's husband is a professional fire fighter. He tells me the same, among coworkers they have an odd sense of humour. It helps them to deal with the things they encounter at work. It is generally not shared with other people outside of the close circle of coworkers who have been through the same or very similar unpleasant situations. I have no problem with this kind of humor, I appreciate where it comes from.

Well I’m totally screwed then. I’ve also been a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years...AntonZ wrote: ↑Sun Feb 14, 2021 11:05 amGrant Bunter wrote: ↑Sun Feb 14, 2021 5:07 am Apologies to anyone offended.

Re: What's to chat about?
So, here's something I found interesting... I figured I'd cheque out some google photos to illustrate what the divot left from stripped T-nuts looks like, when I came across...
Riveting T-Nuts? Have any of you guys seen/heard/had experience with these? Looks like a good way to go if a particular application had to have T-Nuts.
Cheque that out. Pretty slick, eh?

Re: What's to chat about?
In American English, check is the standard spelling of the noun referring to a written order for a bank to pay a specified amount from deposited funds. Outside the U.S., the word is spelled cheque.

Nope, nope, nope... don't do it... don't go get'n all serious just yet. I'm still having fun kicking that one around. I chuckled a little when Bruce brought it up. He's got such a fun lighthearted sense of humor.Grant Bunter wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 4:06 pmIn American English, check is the standard spelling of the noun referring to a written order for a bank to pay a specified amount from deposited funds. It is a funny human way of being that we just assume the way we "know it" is the way it universally is (or should be). Personally, thanks to the internet and daily access to people from all walks of life, I've found it rather fascinating inspecting my own "reality" in contrast to the rest of the worlds people. It's mind boggling how little of "reality" is absolute.

Um, heh, I'm on the south END of the pond named "Lake Huron". ....which puts me west of the pond named "Atlantic Ocean", and way east of the pond named "Pacific Ocean".

Crap! I figured we'd have the Canadians onboard. But, a quick googling proves my intuition is wrong again...
My intuition is getting to be so far off lately, I'm considering just making it a personal rule to always go against my intuition. Which, in and of it's self, is against my intuition.Google wrote:For the bank order, the preferred Canadian spelling is cheque...
How's it going up there Tom? Are you staying warm enough?

I just looked up Sarnia on the map. If there was an earthquake, Sarnia could slip right over and become part of Michigan! I never really looked or paid attention to how far down that little sliver of Canada came down. Kinda neat, really.
