SLA Pro driver mounting

#1 Post by mattleis7 »

Hello! I just wanted a little clarification on how the drivers are mounted in an SLA Pro. The plans say to “screw the woofers in place” and no hardware is mentioned. Should I be using the cabinet screws mentioned earlier in the plans for this? Nothing else is needed?

Screws for the drivers have to be short enough to not go all the way through the baffle.

That's up to you how you wanna mount them. All of mine are held down with regular wood screws. Some use t-nuts or hurricane nuts, but you'll be fine with the same screws you're probably already using to build it.

Edit: Bill is right. You don't want the screw sticking out the wood. Also, full length threads.
