HL10C recone kit?

#1 Post by MikeLicht »

I bought some HL10C drivers turns out one of them is a 10A and not a C, does anyone have or know where I can get a recone kit? I could build 2 more boxes if I can get one
Thanks,
Mike

Eminence doesn't make that kit anymore. You'll have to get really lucky to find a supplier with one in stock.....doubtful that you will.

I may have some, it'll be a bit before I can make my way through the snow to my workshop to check it out.

Yeah, it's cold here too......had to keep my window up most of the time while I was driving this morning....in my short-sleeved shirt.

I just got back from Vegas, where the temps were in the 50s during the day, 40s at night. I wore a short sleeve golf shirt and unlined windbreaker. I saw more than a few pussies wearing big down coats ala George Costanza. I can't imagine what they'd do in cold weather.

I think it's sometimes more about fashion than comfort.

I see that from numbskull teenage boys who wear shorts in the dead of winter, which around here can mean a few weeks never reaching above freezing. No, these were middle aged average Jills and Joes who must have been visiting from Panama.

I managed to get to my shop and found that I do have some HL10 kits, but they're 8 ohm HL10A. not 4 ohm HL10C.

Bill, thank you for checking. I could make MY "C" an "A" I suppose to have a pair, but not sure what I would put them in.
