On another note...

#1 Post by djtrumptight »

even with the recent issues i have been having in regard to my other post in this board,i have been getting rave revues in regard to my BFM system. There is a guy in my neck of the woods that has been doing sound for alot of the party promoters in my area.I recently got word that this guy has been making comments to the promoters about my "homemade" system,ok.A guy that i do regular set ups for was booked to DJ a gig across the street from my detractor. He did the party with his powered rig and the guy blew him away.Well the guy was booked to do that same situation again and told me he was gonna take his system (its in the video in front of him) but if my detractor came to set up across the street he would need me.I was DYING to get that call and i got it.even with me actually only having 3 working subs and not being able to hit war volume without my Sub amp clipping i must say my system kicked his in the ass !!! This is the first time i ever heard my system compared to somebody elses and there truly is a big difference in a system being loud and a system being loud AND clear.More than 3 patrons mentioned to us how much better our system sounded compared to across the street although i must admit that most times i cheat and run my tops in stereo. With that being said, the party promoters in my area get together, sometimes as many as 5 or 6 of them and throw parties. The guy i set up for is the main DJ they contract to DJ their events and they all heard my system compared to the other guys so to make a long story short, guess who's their main sound guy ? :hyper: The other sound guy eased over later in the night to get an ear full,i guess he was wondering what the hell was going on,i have an 8 space rack that i can pick up and he has 2 big racks,i guess he needs all that to power those 200 pound McCauleys,he uses 4 dual 18 subs and 2 double 15 with compression horn tops.

earlier in the day,u can see his 2 big racks and can clearly hear my music before i can get out of the parking lot across the street. The sound guy is sitting behind his rack and i believe Youtube muted the video, damn.
