SLA Pro crossover

#1 Post by tvent »

I just noticed that the cap/coil values for the SLA Pro's are different from the other piezo variants I've built from here in the past in other box designs (all have been melded arrays.)

I'm not exactly sure what goes on with the piezo crossovers compared to more traditional 6/12/18/24 per octave crossovers so I'll just ask: what is the corner frequency in the SLA Pro's and is anything else going on with it regarding any boosts or cuts in the response?

Thanks,
Tim

It's a higher crossover frequency, 3.5kHz, because the dispersion of the direct radiating woofers in the SLA pros is wide enough to reach that high with them.
