Driver for SLA Pro

#1 Post by minniew »

Hi.

My large rig 4x T48s and 4 x OT12 is great and I enjoy it very much, it's just a bit on the large side for my smaller gigs.

I am currently in the market for SLA Pros, but being stuck in South Africa, Eminence drivers are somewhat unobtainable.

I know the given driver for the SLAs is the Alpha 6As.

The driver I can source locally with the specs nearest to the Alpha 6 is the FaitalPro 6FE200.

Fs - 120Hz

Qts - 0,62

Xmax - 4,67mm.

Will it be acceptable or shall I keep on searching?

Thanks
Werner

I've been using my SLA Pro for the last 4 years built like a tank and I use Faital Pro 6FE200 its loud and clear. Need to use a little eq on top end (-). I also have a custom cover for it to prevent from scratching. I have also 4 Tuba 24's loaded with BP102 4 oHm, I only bring in the 4 subs if larger that 300 venue.
BaasssS, . . how low can you GO!
