Not quite sure how I have been quoted as saying that as it was written by sine143tuna wrote:So how would I go remedying that? Bigger amp? Better settings on the EQ/crossover/limiter?Grant Bunter wrote:With an inuke 6000 and 2 3015lfs per channel you could thermal thr amp in the duration of a single song, if the bassline is centered at thr impedance minima and has a high duty cycle.
The NU6000 doesn't produce enough voltage to do this, so doing this would require buying a higher output amp, or bridging the NU6000 (presuming that can be done);
Change the in cab parallel wiring of the drivers to series wiring in both cabs. Driver wise, the impedance would be 16ohms nominal for one cab. Parallel those 2 cabs together for an overall nominal load of 8 ohms.
This at least raises the load being asked of the amplifier, and that within itself reduces current required and current output.
As far as EQ, tell us what you have as settings for each band from 38 to 57Hz...
