Well I had my field party. It was the wifes 40th so we had about 150 people up.
Had the T48's set to the side of the stage v plated and covered in waterproofish material as it lashed it down!

Had to run with my Peaveys as I couldn't get the cash together for the otops which was disappointing as I had both cabs cut into panels.

Anyhow, the day night had a mix of various types of music. First half was mainly acoustic and vocals which didn't really touch the subs. Next was 2 rock bands and the bass notes sounded lovely. Last was a great house DJ who knows his stuff (have a listen if you like that type of music, it's class!)

They were ran just below the 50 volt limit for 4 hrs flat out. I had convinced myself I would be disappointed as I knew I really needed 4 titans for the outdoors. I was mostly wrong. With only 2 of them they sounded very clear and tight and the volume levels surprised everyone including me. The sound guy from one of the bands was laughing at my Berry ep 2500 and saying it didn't have enough power to run a shoe box never mind my new subs. He was very complimentary afterwards!

I'll build 2 more over the summer so as not to run them at close to max next year.
I've seen post's on here where people have built 16 of these things for pro use with great results but if anyone wants to make a personal pa system for a few hundred quid that will shock people then I recommend the T48's. They are very very good, and very very loud.

It's giant kids and tiny people when looking at the two posted pictures juxtaposed together. An odd visual effect somehow. Probably my eyes.

Great review. Great clips of the party. How a party should be for sure. And wrapped nicely with quite useful comments on the speakers. Thanks for sharing.
