Minidsp 2x4

#1 Post by duder1982 »

Can this be used with my ttls, It would only be used for the sub. So would the 2 in 4 out advanced work or would I have to have the 2.1 for this. I wouldn't think so since I am not running it as a 2 way crossover. But what would a good starting point be, do I just need to use it for protection, such as adding a high pass, low pass filter..

Thanks

I did a quick scan and figured that if you got just the minidsp kit ($85) along with a 2way plugin, you'll be fine. You can use a PEQ, crossover, delay, and limiting with it.

This looks helpful.

Hopefully I can get my amp up and running tonight, then I will move my pre amp and the 2 power amps back down stairs, and move the Scott up stairs. Loot of work but will be fun to play with.

Yeah, those MiniDSPs look like fun. Some of the stuff you can do with them is pretty neat, far beyond what a lot of actual DSP units can do.
