I am now a believer!

Last night (late night around 1am, I am now working on 3 hours of sleep  ) I wired one of my W10 and I really, really liked it sounded. I powered it with about 15-20V and it sounded loud with recorded music. The melded array is in series/parallel which I’m glad about it because it is pretty sensitive I can only imagine in the parallel version  . I set the EQ to flat, based on the SPL chart and dropped the 2K, then tried a mic standing about 2ft away from it, I could still work on the EQ for it, but overall it sounds good. I was kind of afraid to do so but I pointed the mic at it while holding the gain with the other hand but no feedback at all LOL.
Today I will use that one in an outdoor event I know it will not be enough for our whole band  but we have done it before with no monitors at all so one is better than none. :D I know I keep promising this but, I will get pictures of it and hopefully a video.
The melded array is in parallel/series and I have 2 quick questions:

What is the Maximum voltage I can give the cab to keep it safe?

What is the end result of this finished cab, as far as resistance?

Thank you so far im very happy with this monitor. :D

I treat the tops and WH's as 8 ohm cabs, it gives you some extra safety factor and I'm not sure that you get 2 ohms extra impedance as you do in the horn subs.

At least in my plans, it says that the Beta 10 reaches maximim excursion at 100Hz with about 80W (second paragraph in the plans)
That's 25V if treated as an 8 ohm cab.

Wiring the array parallel series increases it's power handling a lot, so no worries there.
And wiring it that way makes it around 2dB less sensitive that "just" parallel wiring...
Built:
DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

Look at your Sketchup. It shows one on the side near the back and top and another on the opposite side.
Edit: Little late to the party :) guess I'll read the whole thread next time.
2X OTop 112, 3012HO, melded - 2X T39, 27", Lab 12 - XF 212 - 4 DR250, 2 melded, 2 straight
2 20" T39 3012LF - WH10 - WH8 - in the shop - 2 more 20" T39s

LOL just a tad bit late but the intention is good, thank you.

The band really like playing with the monitor, I placed right in the center of our 6 piece band (3 front 3 on the back), the lead singer (center) said it was a tad bit loud for him, a keyboard player and I (Front right/left) a a tad bit low, all my back line (about 5 ish feet away from the one W10) was extremlly happy, they could all hear well. :D

Just curious, how did you deal with page 15 where it says "Align the joint where the front of the horn meets the side and bottom, being sure the upper edge of the baffle contacts the top; the horn need not be perfectly squared to the shell."
Should it say, "...where the horn meets the top..."? Or something else? Seems obvious enough but, I've seen IITP too many times to just guess. sorry for the hijack

I've looked at it dozens of times. The baffle is not near the top. It's around 1-1/4" away from it. I'm sure this will turn out to be an embarrassing mis-read on my part but, that's where I'm at right now.
