Thank you, so I should have plenty left for future builds, do you thin it at all and did you use a roller or sprayed it on?racertomtom wrote: Yes, I put 2 coats on 2-T39s, 2- OT12s and 4 WH8s. I have 1/3 gallon left.

Re: W10 in progress
well.. tbh I'm in the same boat... but somethings gotta go on there... and if I compare it to what I would spend on flat black... it makes me feel less

HELPPP!
I finished the horns but when I was trimming the bottom of one of them I went about an 8th overboard, would I still be able to use the horn? is there any solution other than re building the whole horn?

Fill it up/rebuild the thickness with succesive applications of bondo if you think that will suffice, or add a nice thin piece of ply and PL it on, let it set, and re trim...

DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

Bondo should work after fiting it in its not to bad, my only concern with bondo is what ive read about duratex. Thanks for your quick reply grant!

an 1/8" is not bad when you are cutting the horn to fit inside the cabinet box.
When you install the horn inside the box put a large bead of PL on that side.

+1, especially if you use some temporary screws to hold the horn in place with the gap halved to either edge.Scott Brochu wrote:an 1/8" is not bad when you are cutting the horn to fit inside the cabinet box.

I was sure that I would find a solution here on the forum.
