Something similar goes for Duratex. Try on some scrap wood first. If it does not hold well, you can apply some black/darkgrey latex paint first (as a primer coat). Warnex will probably stick to that. Again, try on scraps first.

Prime it first, then it should stick.

I used automotive 1/50 filler over screws and holes. Then some spray on automotive primer... works like a charm, Warnex will stick to that no problem.

If you gonna paint it white, make the horn mouths black for a nice contrast...

The problem here is that I have some sunken screws hidden with filler. You remind me of my wife, she said just the same about staining it to match the bass
But I don't know if I'm gonna keep this bass as long as the Omni TB...

I, too, was thinking that a stain would look really good. That picture really shows it off nice.

The Tuff Cab technical data says not to paint over anything containing cellulose solvents like filler, primers... I've used the two component type filler with hardener 1:50. It doesn't state anywhere that it contains solvents. Would it be safe to use Tuff Cab then?

If you pre-paint the cab with a cheap paint, you should be able to use the Tuff Cab....similar idea when using Duratex on PL.

Do you feel royal? Go with purple.

I was thinking about the same, and a glow in the dark UV phase plug
I think a stained look doesn't really match the design of the wheels so it will probably be a paint job...

Found out that the mid driver wasn't hitting the phase plug, it was a combination of pedal/amp settings
Damn it sounds great. I think I'm going to make me some Jacks too...

Indeed they're the ones I put on it. I made slight changes to the back panel and flanges to make it fit. Luckily the woofer just passes through

Interesting wheels. They look like rollerblade wheels, I wonder if they wouldn't rattle as much as regular casters at high volume?

I was just thinking the same thing about the rattles. I have resorted to placing a piece of folded Coors Light beer box into the wheels every time I gig to keep the wheels from rattling. Yes that's right folks T39's at full tilt require you to drink a 12 pack of bottles to keep the wheels quiet. So drink up and Jam

Yep, I fold up pieces of paper for the same reason.

They are indeed kinda soft like roller blade wheels. For now no rattle at all. Haven't tested it at a real live gig but I can go pretty loud at my studio without disturbing the neighbours.
