Looks like I'm gonna' have to take me a little "whuppin'" trip to Arkansas!

Ok, I guess I owe you one - so here goes.....

Did you know the toothbrush was invented in Arkansas?

If it had been invented anywhere else, it would have been called a teethbrush.

I've been to Arkansas ( pronounced Arken-saw - not R Kansas as I almost fatally found out ) and I have to say, everyone I saw there had more than one tooth so that's a little harsh Bruce. Why, in fact some people had up to at least three teeth :loler:

Sorry to hear of your trouble, I had sort of the same thing happen in a club. A person came up to me and asked can't you turn it down?
I looked at him smiled and said excuse me a second, then I asked the couple directly behind him " do you think it's too loud?" They replied hell no it sounds awesome. :D I turned back to him and just looked at him and smiled and pointed out at the packed floor. I figure if 1 out of 700 complains I'm doing good, I was running 4 Titan 48's and 4 Otop 112's

I figure if no one complains it isn't loud enough. And those who complain invariably say 'we're trying to talk'. If you want to talk go somewhere else. :cussing:

I had a similar one happen.....About the second song, a girl I went to high school with came over and complained it was too loud.....I said, "uh....it's a rock n' roll show." But I touched the master fader and said how's that?

An hour later, she even closer to the speakers, I've turned it up about 3 db, and she's having a grand old time. I guess she just needed her beer ears on.

Organiser of wine company launch party, standing 2ft in front of Dr250 ,kept getting us to turn down. I felt like dragging him by the scruff to other side of the room.

In the churches, the old people love to sit as close as possible to the speakers, then complain that it's too loud.

Loud is great for R&R, not what I do, hence the Jacks as full range. Outdoor jam wih acoustics, guy sits over 100' away at the other end of the little parking lot and asks, " You the sound guy?". Yup. "Well, its WAY TOO LOUD!"

Everyone else sat within 40' and was fine. One girl said she heard the music driving by and pulled in.

I can even imagine DR & Titans. Probably blow out some windows.

Oh, my response to he guy sitting far away. . . I'll see what I can do.
