Airtight sockets?

What jack sockets* are best for a sealed cab? Having gone to great lengths to ensure that the cab is airtight?

*1/4", XLR, Speakon...

XF 210, Jack 110 (bass only), Wedgehorn 6 (panel tweets), 3 x W6 Lite, Jack 110 (melded), 2 x Jack 110 Lite (melded)

True Nutrik brand speakon jacks are as close to air-tight as you can get.

If I recall correctly, Leland has plugs for 1/4" sockets. Nevertheless, I wouldn't use 1/4". Neutrik speakon all the way for me, as DJPhatman says. Close enough to being airtight. If it's not good enough yet, then make a little box behind it from scrap ply. No need for it to be pretty, so it won't take long.

I once had a bass guitar cab with XLR sockets for speaker connection. Very bad idea. Don't do that.

Thanks guys, I'll swap out the temporary 1/4" for a Neutrik Speakon!

I still have two Turbosound speakers and they have xlr for power input.
