Mixer - Dub & Techno DJ
Mixer - Dub & Techno DJ
I play reggae & dub 7" and mix techno 12" vinyl. Looking for mixer which'll allow two decks (no need for CD or 3rd/4th decks), one or two mics, plus good eq, and aux sends/rtns. No need for digital. Sound quality is paramount. The new A&H Xone464 (with black fascia) is up my street. Wondering if anyone has alternative suggestions? The snd/rtn options are for dub siren, multi fx, sampler...I have old H&H MA100 unit for vocals too.

at that price level, maybe look into a rane mp44? It should have everything you need.
If you want cheaper, the ecler nuo has 2 table channels, 1 mic in, great eq section, and aux send/returns

i have a allen & heath xone:42 and i love it. had a rane and would never go back.
A&H is becoming the standard for features and sound quality. not a bad way to go.

I have a Vestax 004xl ($300). All the basics. Solid build. Good feel. Better sound quality that you would expect given the price point. Not in the same league as the A&H...but also not in the same price point. There is a 002xl ($200) model that is for 2 channels.
I also have tried and am planning to buy a Behringer DDM-4000. Solid build. Good feel. IMO, this is the top of the value/$ food chain in digital mixers. Better quality is certainly out there...but for a lot more $$$.
