Saw it. I suspect Harley did, too, and that's what got us thinking about the subject. I can't remember if you included the comparison chart. If you did, I apologize for the duplication.

I'm fairly sure I did, but I dont remember. I believe the general consensus was that the DR280 > W10 as a top, with similar box size. The w10 takes a lot more eq to act as a top as well.
Built:
2x Tuba 30s delta12lf loaded (gone)
4x Otop12 d2512 loaded
8x t48s (18, 18, 24, 24, 30, 30) 3015lf loaded
2x AT (1 mcm, 1 gto 804)
2x SLA Pro (dayton pa6, 6 goldwood piezo loaded)
1x bastard XF208

2x OT212 (delta pro 450a loaded, eminence psd)

The DR should be a better box since it has a longer horn. J112 and W10 are a much closer comparison since they have a similar horn length.

Chris

Can you add a THT Lab15 18" vs 24" chart? The Lab 15 is in the plans but no chart.

Thanks

Hi Dan,

I've had a good look round but I can't find a copy of the chart to sample.

There is no chart for a LAB 15 in a 24" THT because it's not a recommended use. LAB 15 is only specified for 18-20" widths.

Bill,

Is there a chart for the THT Lab 15 18"? It is not in my plans nor can I find it anywhere. I am not trying to :horse: , Just want to see what I am dealing with since I have a couple Lab 15s on order.

Thanks,
Dan

It's similar to the 24" but with the lower corner frequency at 28Hz instead of 25Hz. In a 30" width the Fc is at 22Hz.

Thanks for the reply Bill. What driver loaded 24" are you referring to? I found charts on the Lab 12 and Tempest 15, from the charts I am assuming it is the Admire 15

I am not sure what this means. Can anyone help me understand this? Thanks

The corner frequency is just what the term implies, the frequency where response falls off and the chart trace turns a corner.

Chris, could you please add the 3012LF T30 in 16", 27", and 30" widths? They're all in the SPL Charts section.

Sure:

Code: Select all

[spl]T30W16D3012LF,T30W27D3012LF,T30W27D3012LFX2,T30W30D3012LF&dbmin=80&dbmax=110&fmax=200[/spl]

Code: Select all

[spl]T30W16D3012LF,T30W16D2010& dbmin=80&dbmax=110&fmax=200&dbmark=89.5,92&fmark=35,50[/spl]

Checked Bill's charts and the 2010 does provide a 2.5dB advantage between 35 and 55 Hz.
