Just an update for any Canadians who might read this in the future- don't order from MCM. I wasn't looking for shipping info yet when I ordered from them a week or so ago, and took the ~$10 shipping charge at face value. No dice. $38 COD + $10 shipping on a $35 driver bites. I'll be piggybacking the driver for the other Tuba 18 on a PE order for a Dayton sub amp I was going to get anyway (even with the rather excessive shipping it was still cheaper than any other source I found). Unfortunately this means using an MCM on one Tuba and a Tang on the other, but I unless I'm corrected I'm going to assume that matching drivers isn't worth $40.

I'm no expert on speaker characteristics but after hours of reading on here it seems like it will make a noticeable audible difference if the two different drivers are used.

Surely someone with more expertise will enlighten us.

They're located in British Columbia, so if you order in the next few months (from Ontario), you'll only pay the 5% GST.

I haven't bought from them (yet) but will likely get a BASH amp from them for my THT.
