I've rewritten part of the SPL chart tool so that the image looks a bit better - so I'll be looking out for oddities in the next few weeks.

It's a little slower but looks nicer.

Chris_Allen, the SPL tool appears to not work with the "new" forum.

Those charts actually look a bit too good, due to the vertical scale. They'd be better with a scale of 75 to 115dB in the same vertical dimension.

It looks like they have changed the way the bbcodes work in such a way that I'll have to reformat the way these charts are requested.

I may be the first person to ask, but is T18 available in the SPL tool or would it be an easy addition? I would like to compare the charts against the TT/TTLS.

You don't need SPL tool to see that corner loaded the T18 has a -3dB of about 42Hz, the TT about 28Hz.

OK, that is quite a significant extra reach in the lows. I have a T18 but the shape does not fit our current living room so it has been in storage for quite a while now. I will see if I can sneak a TTLS past the war office by means of standing upright in a corner of the room. Probably going for the panel 8 modification like discussed some time ago, so the mouth is not facing down anymore.
