Ever seen this?

Came across this online today. Looks homemade to me. Any idea what this would be used for? The guy says there are 8 ea 4" drivers.

Looks kinda' like an old Bose 901.....I think that's what it was called....never paid a lot of attention to Bose.

I'd say it's a 801, 802 or 901 copy. Take out the drivers and it might makes a decent lobster trap. That's about all it's good for.

That is supposed to be the rear view. The 901 had a single, centre-mounted driver on the front, as well as a port on either side of it.

That would be the rear view of the hi-fi 901, the front view of the PA 801. Second generation of both series also had ports.
