In the DR section in the topic "Eminence HF Drivers" you wrote:
"The NSD 2005 driver has been discontinued. Once existing supplier inventories are sold they won't be available. The Eminence F151M-8 may be substituted for the NSD 2005. The similar neo magnet F151M-8 is not a suitable replacement for the NSD 2005, its resonant frequency/fs is too high.

But I think you did mean "The similar neo magnet N151M-8 [...]", didn't you?

Seriously though. Thank you Bill. For your plans, creating this space, sharing your knowledge, and for your patience. Much appreciated.

In the SLA Pro plans it says the recommended driver is the Eminence Alpha-6 with an Fs of 118 hz. But none of the Alpha-6's available have that Fs. The Alpha-6A has an Fs of 103 but the rest of the parameters are the same. Is this a typo or is there another driver I'm missing? The drivers I saw were the Alpha-6A, Alpha-6C, and Alphalite-6.

My Eminence data sheet for the Alpha 6A has Fs listed as 118Hz. If the current spec sheet says 103Hz they've changed it, for the better.

Latest Alpha-6A spec sheet says 103 Hz. Good for us. And at $54.99 I think they're reasonably priced.

I was wondering, if the resonant freq of the Alpha-6A is 15 Hz lower than it used to be, does it have any effect on box tuning or port size?

It doesn't. It was tuned to 95Hz already, so the lower Fs isn't a problem.

SLA Pro plans, page 13, second paragraph...

"better wave front integration"

Wavefront is one word, even though spell check doesn't think so (it's telling me right now).

T60 sales page
...which compares the 2x12 loaded T60 to the 2x21 loaded EAW 2100
Yet the chart says EAW 2001

I'm not sure which is correct.

I think for the average Joe, most won't care about the impedence a cab adds, that the tweeter arrays are not a resistive load, or even that the market is selling snake oil by using watts instead of voltage. They probably just want to build their cabs, have a beer at the end of it all, and let us "crazies" argue over the semantics.

That's why I quietly stalk the forum. I do not have the knowledge base to add to almost any conversation but I'd like to. I find most of the little nuggets of knowledge to be fascinating.

Whether it's in the plans or in the forum makes no difference to me. FEED ME SEYMOUR!!!

Just did a quick search. The graph is correctly labeled 2001, it's the previous statement that needs to be fixed. It currently reads "the 2x21 loaded EAW 2100" and should read "the 2x21 loaded EAW 2001"
