Being an old incandescent kinda guy since the 80's, if I need to light up faces on stage, I still tend do that the old way with Par 56 and (usually) a Lee brushed silk (228) because it only diffuses in one direction, or opal frost (410), nowadays via a DMX 4 channel dimmer.
Very handy to know I could go all LED with a suitable solution when it comes to face washing!
That zircon warm amber 6 looks interesting too...
Because leds are not a point source but made up of many 4 in 1 leds spread across the face, you might not need any kind of diffusion.
I bought 3 different shades of filters and only the amber 2 was deep enough to turn my white leds (idk, maybe around 5-6k color temp) into a warm halogen shade. The lighter ones are for gentle correction to say get a 3000k warm light into a 2700k warmer light.
Once the gels are in place I can't tell them apart from a par 56 and I know the secret.
