What is the purpose of the HF diffuser on CD horn?
What is the purpose of the HF diffuser on the OT12 CD horn? Obviously to diffuse, but is there a more in depth explanation? What would I hear if I ran a box without it?

Without it very high frequencies would have less dispersion off-axis.
