Can anyone help me identify this speaker?

#1 Post by Bruce Weldy »

Coming down to the end of selling off my friend's gear for his daughter. Came across this speaker today. The only markings were on the cone. Odd looking dust cover. Any ideas?

That's a first generation Eminence neo, a Deltalite 10,12 or 15 depending on size.

I meant to state that it was a 15. I kind'a thought it might be an Eminence, but I couldn't find the normal sticker on it. So, I guess that makes it a DL2515.

Thanks.

Under the porous dust cap you can see an aluminum pole piece extension, meant to act as a heatsink for better cooling. It must not have worked all that well, as the Deltalite II went back to a traditional vented pole piece.

Can I assume the T/S specs are the same for that one as the DLII? I couldn't find anything on that older one.

They're probably not the same. I have them for the 2510 and 2512, but not the 2515. Eminence can get them for you.
