Help looking for new HT stereo

Hello guys,
A good buddy of mine asked me to help him with find a AVR for his new home. He will not have a dedicated HT/media room. More like a living/media room. I am thinking a 5.1 with a zone 2 for audio send to patio/ pool area. I have a denon AVR 991 so am partial to denon, but I know yamaha and Onkyo have great offerings available. He wants the best bang for the buck and probably staying in the $350-500 range.
He is planing on connecting a blue ray, computer, iPad and TV. (Hdmi) Bluetooth would be great as well. I was hoping to find something with 80-100 watts per channel.
