On Board Amp
This on board amp from Parts Express looks good, at a price that makes sense.
https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-au ... h--300-798
It could be mounted on just about any of our full range cabs with minor modifications. It has enough power to drive a pair of cabs, so it would be easy enough to install a 4 pole Speakon on the cab containing the amp and one on the extension speaker. Full DSP that includes crossover, EQ and limiting plus Bluetooth makes this a very attractive rig.

Re: On Board Amp
Not to mention it has two amps on board, making a biamped cab possible.

Re: On Board Amp
That's the only way you'd want to use it. Until now nothing in this price range had all the features you want, especially the DSP capability.BrentEvans wrote: ↑Mon Oct 15, 2018 3:06 pm Not to mention it has two amps on board, making a biamped cab possible.
Re: On Board Amp
The first time I saw these amps I though the eq was a 5 preset aka rock pop vocal etc but upon farther investigation it is 5 band parametric with 5 saveable settings. these amps are needed in this industry. That’s a win for parts express and Dayton audio. I wish Dayton made more drivers that met these horn loaded demands.

Re: On Board Amp
Just run short jumper cables to the other jack. 1 to 1 and 2 to 2.

Re: On Board Amp
From the top of this page: install a 4 pole Speakon on the cab containing the amp and one on the extension speaker.
Why you'd only want to use the low frequency amp I don't get.
