Recommend me a home theatre amp

Haven't been on the forums much lately. Life has been busy, but good. I’m looking at redoing the lounge room at home and using a pair of floor standers that I refurbished a few years back, but since building OT12’s, they have gathered dust. They are full range 3 ways which sound good once EQ’d. They will be used mainly for TV/movies at low volume, plus a few tunes here and there.

I’m after a low power amp which has an EQ function similar to that on the DCX2496, or close. Doesn’t need to be more than 2 channels 50W @ 8ohms per side, but it must have some sort of EQ. The closest I’ve been able to find in ten minutes is behringer INUKE 1000 dsp.

Any others spring to mind, or other options? Consider that I'm looking to spend as little as possible.

Thanks in advance.

Any other lower power amps out there with parametric EQ of any kind?

Hmmm it seems minidsp has spread it's wings somewhat, with dealers/stockists in various parts of the world, but not Australia. Perhaps we are to small a market.
CL in Australia doesn't exist in Western Australia where Dan lives.

If it's just for EQ, maybe old school?

Or something similar.
Or a used 31 band.

One "issue" with the inuke may become fan noise. See if you can find a used amp without fan?

miniDSP… I like it! I have a pioneer 5.1 120W rms amp sitting around, so this solves the problem! Thanks for the idea. I’ll source from their site, or from US.
