QSC PLD

#1 Post by bradn7 »

Hey guys, I bought a QSC PLD 4.2 a few months back and have been waiting to post a review of it. After 5 gigs this thing is still running beautifully for my monitor rig. It has 4 channels, each capable of 400 watts at 8 ohms. I am planning on purchasing the 4.5 once I have a bit more money in the bank. That one 4.2 has as much power as my QSC RMX2450 in half the space and 1/4th the weight of two amps. The prices are actually very reasonable considering how much they do and the power capabilities of them. If you are looking for a DSP capable amp with power to boot I highly recommend the QSC PLD.

The dsp is actually very easy to get around in. It can limit by volts or watts. If you don't use them for your bf speakers it has presets for popular brands from QSC, JBL, Peavey and several others. I love it. I plan to get the big 4.5 when I get this one paid off.
