Price Drop on Crown XLS 2500

#1 Post by mechatronic »

If you are looking for a Crown XLS 2500 amp, the current model price is dropping due to the new model XLS2502 that is coming out. Retail was $599, and now the retail price is at $499. One can get the amp even cheaper here on ebay listing for $349... or make offer... :slap:

If you want the new XLS model amps that are coming out, then are coming out at the end of July 2015...

Thanks for putting this out there.

I found some on Amazon for $349, but they sold out before I could put in an order. However, I found 'em on B&H for $349 and bought one there. The other big box stores are still at $399. That will probably change soon.

Would this amp be a good choice for powering a pair of Titan 48's 24"wide with the 3015lf drivers?

It's ok....personally, I'd like more power.

I use a 2500 to power my 4 OTops. I use 1500s bridged for each pair of subs. I don't ever hit the red lights with the 1500s and there is plenty of power.

MCM still has them listed @ $599. Things being as they are, they will probably start their sale next month.

B + H Photo has them @ $349 right now.

Just noticed that Amazon and B&H Photo have both dropped the XLS 2500 price a bit more down to $345.00. Amazon also appears to have the XLS 2000 ($249) and XLS 1500 ($209) in stock at the moment. I would imagine the old stock will be running out soon. Buy them while you can. The new replacement models carry a substantially higher price tag.

Glad to be able to help. I also bought one at $349 and then another in this deal at $299. The second one will be a spare for now. Couldn't pass up such a great deal on a Crown.
