At 16 years old and 63 pounds - I hope you got a really good deal.

That weighs more than all of the amps in my rack in total. You must be strong!

6 - T39 3012LF
4 - OT12 2512
1 - T24
1 - SLA Pro
2 - XF210

Assuming it comes through and the seller doesn't hide behind the "advertised elsewhere" line in the advert because he failed to achieve the price he wanted. I don't think it was a bad price.

It was over what I bid on a PPX 900 and lost
I plan to build a couple of DR250's & Autotuba.
WARNING - LAB12 T39's are EXCELLENT

You will love the reliability and performace.

If you are concerned about the weight, put them in their own 3-4u flightcases for easyer one man load in and out.

+1 to the above..

I've never had one fail or do anything show killingly silly. I do have one that I occasionally have to turn on twice as it goes into protect when first fired up but my tech can't find anything wrong with it. It's no bother and has been that way for the 8 or so years I've used it.

They have stacks of power and will outrun a 2400 Macrotech but are a really smooth sounding amp too happily matching the sonic integrity of the Crown. It won't beat a 3600VZ but isn't as heavy as one either.

I don't think you'll regret it, I haven't. :D

Old Brit amps are sort of my area. Look out for Matamp Quasar power amps, awesome devices.

A Pal of mine used to have a Matamp for his mobile, he changed it for a Yamaha P1500

Not a PA amp, but hows a Rotel RA913 sound to you ?

I'm not an authority on Rotel product, but the ones I have seen were junky telephone paging amps, about the same quality as Inkel or InterM.
