I was thinking of picking up an A500 used from a guy and was wondering if I can run it bridged on a T-60. I figured that would be a great fit for the horn.
Correct me if I am wrong please! Thanks!

Behringer A500 bridged for a T-60?
Re: Behringer A500 bridged for a T-60?
You can, but its really made for home audio. Pro sound amplifiers have a high duty cycle able to run continuously at high power levels. This amp may or may not be up to the task. For a house party setup its probably fine, but I wouldn't use it for a mission critical pro sound application.

Thanks Ryan. I do plan on using this sparingly (working in the yard, occasional party, yada yada). I can get the amp for $100 shipped so figured it was well worth the price.Ryan A wrote:You can, but its really made for home audio. Is there anything else I should consider for the price? I can also get a Dayton 240 for about the same, a little cheaper....

Thanks Grant. I'll take your cue as a "find another amp to use."Grant Bunter wrote:You may wish to read this:

Honestly, some bridge, others don't.
If you can find something at a reasonable price you don't have to bridge, well, IMO, that would be better...
