What amp for T18, THT LP, and Auto tuba

#1 Post by slinger »

I plan on building a T18, THT LP and an Autotuba. Can someone post what the ideal specs are for each of these? I think I am going to go for a bash 300 for the THT LP. If I add a second THT LP will the bash 300 power both our can it only do one? What about a rack mount amp that could power both. Something a little smaller for the T18 would be nice. I am not sure what I need for the Autotuba. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

just build 2 auto tubas, or 2 t18s, they are pretty similar in response, and this way you can use them as a pair for misc whatever (dunno if thats your bag).
Built:
2x Tuba 30s delta12lf loaded (gone)
4x Otop12 d2512 loaded
8x t48s (18, 18, 24, 24, 30, 30) 3015lf loaded
2x AT (1 mcm, 1 gto 804)
2x SLA Pro (dayton pa6, 6 goldwood piezo loaded)
1x bastard XF208

2x OT212 (delta pro 450a loaded, eminence psd)

All the subs are for different applications. I might build two THT LP'S for home theatre.
