Running arround in circles here trying to decide which amp to get for my tannoy system 800 studio monitors
http://www.tannoy.com/products/160/uman_System800.pdf
System 800
Frequency response: 47 Hz - 20 kHz
Recommended amplifier power 60 to 180 W rms into 8 ohm
Power handling Average Programme
90 W rms - 180 W rms
Nominal Impedance: 8 ohm
Sensitivity: 92 dBSPL / 1 W @ 1 m
So I am considering the sure tripath amps 2x100 or 4x100 or something from 41hz.com
I will run them with the passive crossovers first but want the possibility of going fully active using the mini dsp I own.
any suggestions?
