Haven't seen you around these parts in ages. Always cool when an old regular pops his head in for a hello. How have you been?RubiconProSound wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 1:39 pm Yes, these little amps are great!
I use mine with a Milwaukee 18 volt battery and it will run a 2.1 system all weekend on a battery as long as I'm not cranking it. I currently use it with T18-6 and a pair of SLA pro speakers in half sizes (two drivers per cabinet) and I've found it will also run a small house party. I can bluetooth my iPad to the unit and walk around and mingle with guests.

Re: Portable 2.1 setup
Thanks,
I lurk on the forum every once in a while and chime in when I have the time. I have a day job that requires a lot of my time and the remaining time is spent hanging with family or working on home projects. I was out of the house for a couple weeks because of the Caldor fire but we're moved back in and life is returning to normal. I got a free weekend to make some sawdust and play with PL again so I'm in my happy place.

Re: Portable 2.1 setup
I built a T18 in a skinnier width and popped in a Tang Band W6 woofer just to see how small I could go. it comes in a tad bit smaller that the TAT version of the AutoTuba. I've been running this setup for about a year and it's working great.

Ahhh, I was wondering what you meant by T18-6. Cool little project and cool to hear how well it's working out for you.RubiconProSound wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 4:19 pm I built a T18 in a skinnier width and popped in a Tang Band W6 woofer just to see how small I could go. it comes in a tad bit smaller that the TAT version of the AutoTuba. Thanks for sharing your set-up. It gave me an idea, of which I may share in the future.
