For livingroom sound better than in a theatre.

Wow!
Considering what you've said in the past, the TLAH's must be amazing...
Built:
DR 250: x 2 (melded array) with March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" BP102 , 2 x 28" 3012lf.
WH8: x 3 with melded array.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

I loved the DR-200 and 250 for their clarity, dynamics, and big sound stage. I needed lots of dsp to take them in my room but they were awesome once dialed in properly. They still had a harder sound than others but still picked over many. Then Atmos came out and I could not use the dsp I had(nanoavr from mini dsp) which was very simple and very good but limited to 7.1. I switched so I can have an easy plug and play for Atmos and because my room had 11 matching speakers it was the best overall system as a theater, not per speaker. My M&K S-5000 had the best upper end to me and had a tone or something I really liked so I hoped the TLAH using soft domes would be my DR/MK combo, it is! I have not even calibrated them with my subs yet and everyone likes them best.

Since most receivers in use today don't have DSP they were designed to be used without it. If they didn't deliver the goods they wouldn't be still in my living room three TVs later.

I never knew I could build these myself or I would still be looking for used like it did the DR. I can't believe these are not popular on AVS, they should be. I am posting a build thread there as well.

I tried uploading pics to my photo bucket but it would not let me. Once I figure it out I will post

Building DR's are another bread of building vs tlahs or slas.

Upload to photobucket than grab the URL code and put on Bills site. You can only do a few on each post.
That baffle is roughly 19/32".

Yeah, that is a little too thick for the drivers terminals to be exposed. I did mount them from the rear which has its own set of problems. I wanted TLAH because of the soft domes and ease of construction. I just used disconnects and squeezed the tip for a tight fit. I used MDF for the rest of the cab but I will use plywood for my SLA Atmos speakers.

I know how to use photobucket just that it was not uploading for me. I will try again tomorrow as I am away. I am going with a 5.2.4 Atmos setup as that is what will fit perfectly in my theater.

I started a build thread at AVS since all my pics are too big for here.

I am not sure I have one. Can I copy and paste the link? I like the pics better but that could work. I am not at that computer but they are on photo bucket

You can use Paint. (if you're on a PC):
Open with paint. It WILL overspill the page, don't worry.
Click "select all"
Click on "resize" and select a percentage (I usually do 30 - 40%).
Click "save".
Then you should be able to import it.
