Hello
Would a Ashley protea 4.24c work as a processor for a workshop bfm system? Especially are the limiters adequate?
I can get one for 30€ on a local auction.
I already have old amps i could use so this would be a cheap way to protect the subs

That's a great deal and will work fine.

Cool, as of this moment i'm the highest bidder ,
.
Now off topic but dsp related. Is the nx3000d the newer
Version of the inuke 3000dsp? My xti amp has been giving me issues and needs replacement.

Yes, pretty much just a (much needed) face lift and an impedance compensation circuit added (the original high frequency response would change slightly as the impedance changed). These new ones apparently do not.
I hope you win that processor, its a $1k unit new. Happy bidding, don't let someone steal it away from you the last 5 seconds.

If you need limiters for a workshop system then you rock out harder than I do while building! Do you use extreme vibration curing adhesive?

Hey all those tools make a lot of noise so we have to crank it up!
No the system installed in the workshop is also used when we do birthday party's and such there. Things can get loud!
I wasn't really planning on using a dsp but it's so cheap that lookew like a good idea. I hope the price doesn't go up to much

Unfortunately i didn't win the auction for the protea.
It went up to 240€ in the end and that's way more then i was willing to pay. I'll stay on the lookout for another chance
