Not the same thing. 4dbx and 3dbx are multi band dynamics processing units. You hear something similar on every recorded track you listen to. For a dj, they can, if deployed properly, make things sound louder without sacrificing sound quality. Key phrase there, "if deployed properly." Your average garage dj would have no idea how to do that.DJPhatman wrote:It's because:jomo123 wrote:A lot of Dj are using 4dbx ,3dbx expander in their equipment. Does it make the sound better.
A- they have no clue what an EQ is, or how to use one properly.
B- they listened to some other person that told them the "sound enhancer" was something they needed.
C- they are NOT BFM Design users, or forum members, where we explain to them why the "sound enhancer" is a waste of money.
