Ok guys. I need some help.
Just picked up a new crown xls2500 to replace my old Carvin DCM1000 (heavy, but reliable).
I had the limiter setup and working well with the old amp with tops on channel 1 (limited to 25V) and subs on channel 2 (limited to 45V). Using 2 OT12 and 2 T39s.
Trying to get the limiter reset for the new amp. Crown limiter is off, mode is Stereo with crossover bypassed.
Using a y xlr cable from the left and right out on the dbx into the input of channel 1, and a y-xlr cable from left/right sub output on dvx to input of channel 2. Just like on my Carvin.
I turned off the limiter and compressor on the dbx. Plugged in the voltmeter to channel 2 and ran 60hz on the mixer. Getting the clipping lights on the dvx but volts on channel two is putting out about 42.5V without any limiting on my part.
Am I doing something wrong here? Seems like I should be getting more out of this.
Thoughts?

First, there is no reason to use y-cables. Since it is running mono, just hook up the left side of the driverack and forget the right. One xlr each.
Second, make sure that the +4/-10 switch is on the +4 setting on the back of the driverack. Also, make sure that the anti-feedback is turned off.
